All donations made to Second Wind Foundation are governed by the following principles:
Donors contribute purely out of goodwill to support debt-laden individuals, underprivileged families, health-related causes, and educational needs of children from economically weaker sections of society.
Currently, Second Wind Foundation does not hold registration under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Hence, no tax deduction benefit is available to donors at this stage.
However, it is important to note that under the new tax regime, 80G deductions have very limited or no benefit to most individual and corporate taxpayers — making charitable giving a purely voluntary and noble act rather than a tax-saving measure.
Corporate donors can separately contribute under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provisions, subject to their company's CSR policy and eligibility.
Your contribution, however small, can give someone their Second Wind.
